About

The 21st century is the era of sustainable development and high-quality development of underground space has become an international consensus. As an important premise of urban sustainable development, underground space is the forefront of urban disaster prevention and resilience. Underground space planning is the premise and guarantee of orderly development of underground space. Throughout the development of important cities at home and abroad, the intensive use of underground space has become a trend. By the end of 2020, China's urban underground space has accumulated 2.4 billion square meters. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Shanghai proposed to accelerate the planning and construction of new cities, and strengthened the important role of underground space in improving urban resilience, laying out smart infrastructure, and improving disaster prevention capabilities. With the promotion of new city construction, new concepts such as resilient city, sponge city, three-dimensional city and new technologies such as digital twin city describe a safe and orderly, ecological and environmental protection, efficient and intelligent, interconnected and functional future underground city for people. In the new era, it is necessary to rationally develop and utilize urban underground space, build resilient cities with high levels of disaster prevention and reduction, and build "double carbon" cities with low carbon emissions in industry, construction and transportation and strong ecological and artificial carbon sinks.

As an important display direction of the urban safety and lifeline plate, "Underground Space Project and Technology Exhibition" focuses on the advanced equipment, green environmental protection materials, integrated pipe galleries and pipelines, underground space detection technology and equipment, underground engineering information and safety design, major disaster prevention in urban underground space, and construction of underground space storage facilities. Covering the whole industry chain cycle from the upstream and downstream of the industry, such as design, construction, operation and maintenance management, urban safety and disaster prevention, focusing on the upgrading of four new technologies in the underground space industry. The exhibition links all parts of the Yangtze River Delta to exchange and share practical experience and design inspiration in the development process of underground space, providing reference experience for the construction of low-carbon and resilient cities, providing theoretical basis for the rational planning and development of underground space development and utilization, and jointly promoting the further improvement and development of urban underground space development and utilization.
